Yanga SC are set to begin their 2026/27 continental campaign in their newly unveiled home and away kits, following the official launch of the club’s new jerseys featuring their traditional green and yellow colours.
The new kits are expected to make their first appearance as Yanga travel to Botswana to face Gaborone United in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League on September 5. The Tanzanian champions will be aiming to begin their continental campaign with a positive result away from home.
Manqoba Mngqithi’s side head into the fixture with high confidence after defeating Fountain Gate 2-0 in the NBC Premier League on August 31 at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha.
The victory extended Yanga’s perfect start to the 2026/27 league season, with the defending champions winning all five of their opening matches.
Yanga have now shifted their focus to preparations for the trip to Botswana, with the new kits adding a fresh look to the club as they begin their quest for success in African football.
