Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam is continuing preparations for the CAF Champions League fixture between Simba SC and Malawi’s Mighty Wanderers in the first qualifying round of the 2026/27 competition.
Simba will host the second leg against Mighty Wanderers, scheduled to be played on Sunday, September 13, 2026, with Uhuru Stadium expected to be the venue for the crucial encounter. CAF has announced that the second-leg matches in this round will be played between September 11 and 13.
The first leg will be played in Malawi, where Mighty Wanderers will host Simba before the Reds of Msimbazi return home for the second leg. The team that wins on aggregate over the two legs will advance to the next stage of the competition.
