Tanzanian giants Yanga SC and Simba SC have announced the stadiums they will use as their home grounds for their CAF Champions League matches in the 2026/27 season as both clubs prepare for the preliminary rounds of the competition.
Yanga will use Azam Complex for the second leg against Botswana side Gaborone United, scheduled for September 12, 2026, with kick-off set for 7:00 p.m. The decision comes as the defending Tanzanian champions continue preparations for their continental campaign.
Simba, meanwhile, will use Uhuru National Stadium for their home fixture in the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League. The stadium is undergoing preparations to ensure it meets the requirements for hosting an international fixture.
The selection of the two venues allows Yanga and Simba to put their home-match arrangements in place early as they look to use home advantage and the support of their fans to progress further in Africa’s premier club competition.
