Simba SC have announced the Simba Marathon, an event that will form part of the club’s ongoing activities to celebrate its 90th anniversary. The event is scheduled to take place on October 4, 2026, giving fans an opportunity to participate in various activities beyond the football pitch.
Simba SC Head of Information and Communications, Ahmed Ally, said preparations for the event are already underway, with the club aiming to bring its supporters together through activities that reflect the club’s culture and identity.
Ahmed explained that Simba believes its supporters have different talents and interests outside football, making the Simba Marathon part of the club’s efforts to give them an opportunity to participate, have fun and remain closely connected with the club during its 90th-anniversary celebrations.
The event is expected to add another dimension to Simba’s anniversary celebrations while strengthening the relationship between the club and its supporters through activities outside the traditional football environment.
