Gaborone United Communications Officer Tshepo Molwane says the club has stepped up preparations ahead of their clash against Young Africans (Yanga SC) in the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League.
Molwane said they began making special preparations as soon as they learned they would face Yanga, while also closely monitoring the Tanzanian side’s recent matches to better understand their strengths and style of play.
“We have been preparing very strongly since we found out that we would play against Yanga SC. We have followed their recent matches closely, and we know what kind of team we are going to face. It will not be an easy game.”
The statement underlines the seriousness with which Gaborone United are approaching the encounter, while Yanga will enter the match determined to make a strong start to their CAF Champions League campaign and begin their pursuit of continental success on a positive note.
