UEFA has officially confirmed Allianz Arena in Munich as the host venue for the 2028 UEFA Champions League final, while the 2029 final will be staged at Camp Nou in Barcelona. The decision was made by the UEFA Executive Committee during a meeting held in Thessaloniki, Greece, on September 15, 2026.
Allianz Arena, home of Bayern Munich, will host the Champions League final for the third time after previously staging the showpiece in 2012 and 2025. Camp Nou, meanwhile, will return to hosting the Champions League final for the first time since 1999, when Manchester United defeated Bayern Munich in the final played in Barcelona.
For the 2029 final, Camp Nou won the competition to host the event ahead of London’s Wembley Stadium, which was also among the venues to submit a bid. UEFA had listed Munich as the candidate for the 2028 final, while Barcelona and London competed for the right to stage the 2029 showpiece.
In the UEFA Women’s Champions League, the 2028 final will be played at Parc Olympique Lyonnais in France, while the 2029 final will take place at the National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff.
