The Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, under Minister Paul Makonda, is set to establish a special committee to investigate the contract between the national teams and their kit supplier, with the aim of determining the benefits of the agreement to Tanzania’s national teams.
The move follows uncertainty surrounding the new Taifa Stars kits, with the Ministry seeking clarification on the contract and how it benefits the national teams, which have been funded by the Government.
According to the Ministry, the investigation will focus on reviewing the agreement and determining whether its terms are in line with the interests of the national teams and the Government’s investment in funding their activities.
The Ministry has also emphasized the need for a thorough review to gain a clear understanding of the supplier’s contract and the benefits received by Tanzania’s national teams.
