Tanzania’s Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Paul Makonda, is expected to hold a press conference tomorrow, Thursday, September 24, 2026, in Dar es Salaam, where he is expected to address various issues concerning his ministry.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry today, September 23, the meeting will also discuss major national and international events expected to take place in Tanzania during 2026/27.
The press conference will be held at Hyatt Hotel in Posta, Dar es Salaam, starting at 10:00 a.m., with registration for journalists beginning at 8:00 a.m.
The Ministry said journalists attending the event will have an opportunity to ask Minister Makonda various questions and receive answers immediately. Among the issues that could come up is the recent controversy surrounding the Taifa Stars kits, which has involved Sandaland and the Ministry.
