The Acting Information Officer of the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB), Yahya Abushehe, has said the Board continues to work with various football stakeholders and clubs to ensure that rules and procedures are followed ahead of the Kariakoo Derby.
Abushehe said they have been holding meetings with various stakeholders involved in the match, with the aim of reminding each other of their responsibilities and ensuring that all parties adhere to the established procedures.
He said TPLB is also continuing to work with Simba SC, who are the hosts of the match, to ensure that preparations are carried out carefully and that everything proceeds smoothly ahead of match day.
“It is one of the ways of continuing to remind each other,” Abushehe said.
He added that the cooperation is an important part of the preparations, aimed at ensuring that the match is played in a safe, peaceful environment and in accordance with football regulations.
