The 8:45 PM EAT UEFA Champions League fixtures ended with dramatic results, as Liverpool suffered a 3-2 defeat against Fenerbahce in Turkey, while Real Madrid secured a 3-2 away victory over AEK Athens.
In Turkey, Fenerbahce claimed victory through goals from Mason Greenwood in the 29th minute, Archie Brown in the 73rd minute and Muriqi in the 79th minute. Liverpool’s goals came from Nyoni in the 25th minute and Alexander Isak in the 69th minute, but the visitors could not prevent the hosts from claiming all three points.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid had to fight until the closing stages to secure victory against AEK Athens. The hosts took the lead through Koita in the 12th minute before Jude Bellingham equalised in the 32nd minute.
