Tomorrow, Saturday, October 17, Tanzania Mainland champions Yanga will take to the pitch at Azam Complex to face Madagascar’s CFFA in the first leg of their CAF Champions League (CAFCL) qualifying tie, with a place in the group stage at stake.
This will be Yanga’s first match since their defeat to traditional rivals Simba in the NBC Mainland Premier League.
Yanga players have a special message they want to deliver to their supporters through this match: they want to show that the team is determined to fight for every trophy this season and that the previous defeat was simply part of football.
Fans have continued to buy tickets in large numbers. At the moment, only tickets for the Mzunguko section remain available, while VIP A and VIP B tickets have sold out.
Tomorrow’s match against CFFA will kick off early at 3:00 p.m.
