Following the FIFA international break, Yanga are preparing for a demanding run of consecutive matches towards the end of the year, with the club needing to balance its efforts between defending the NBC Mainland Premier League title and securing a place in the CAF Champions League (CAFCL) Group B quarter-finals.
The reigning NBC Mainland Premier League champions will begin their domestic campaign on November 20 when they travel to the Kilimanjaro Region to face Polisi Tanzania. They will then head to Mbeya to take on Mbeya City on November 27, although that fixture could be postponed due to a clash with the CAF Champions League schedule.
After that, the giants will return to Dar es Salaam to host Azam FC on December 5, a match that could also be rescheduled. They will then travel to face Singida Black Stars on December 12 before ending the year with another meeting against Azam FC on December 30.
While their domestic battles continue, Yanga supporters will also have their attention firmly fixed on the continental stage, where the team has been drawn in CAF Champions League Group B alongside Zamalek SC, MC Alger and Club Africain.
