The President of Yanga, Engineer Hersi Said, has said that he has great confidence that they have a good chance of continuing to do well in the CAF Confederations Cup , with Yanga taking second place in Group D
Yanga needs to win the next game against US Monastir which will be played on Sunday, March 19th to reach the quarter finals of the tournament
Hersi has said that if they succeed in reaching the quarter finals, they can advance to the semi final stage, and even go further to the final stage and even win the championship
Hersi has said he believes Yanga will be the first team from Tanzania to win the CAF trophy
"We will be the first team from Tanzania to bring the CAF Cup to the country. Inshallah on Sunday if we make it to the quarter-finals, I believe we will go through to the semi-finals, then the final and inshallah we will be the first team to celebrate the title this"
