"Yanga is not a bad team, as opponents we must respect them, but I don't see any reason for them to destroy our plans and fail to achieve our goals," said Eguma

While Eguma was confident, Yanga Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi said they know the game against Rivers United will be difficult but they will ensure they win and advance to the semi-finals

Nabi, who recently returned Tanzania from Tunisia to deal with family issues, said he know Rivers United has changed from the one they faced last season in the Champions League preliminary round

"I know Rivers United have changed, there are new players in their team unlike those we faced us last season, but even we have changed too,, we have a stronger team compared to last season"
