Simba Assistant coach Juma Mgunda has congratulated Simba players for successfully emerging with a 2-0 victory against Yanga in the premier league game played at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on Sunday
Mgunda said the players carried out the instructions given to them correctly and if they were more lucky they deserved to win the game with a large number of goals
"I must congratulate our players for this victory. We knew the quality of Yanga and their weaknesses so we made a very good preparation for the game. The coach (Robertinho) told us early on not to give Yanga a chance to have the ball and when we have the ball to accelerate the attack"< /em>
"In the first half we should have scored no less than four goals but the important thing is that we were able to win and I congratulate the players for achieving this victory," said Mgunda
Talking about the performance of goalkeeper Ally Salim, Mgunda said they prepared him to play the match before the game against Ihefu Fc
"Let me tell you a secret, we prepared Salim to play today (yesterday) before the game against Ihefu. After that game we told him that he will have a big role to play on this game"
"I congratulate him, he has done well, it is important that he continues to work hard, his age is still young, he has a chance to go further"
