The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the use of video assistant referee technology (VAR) in the quarter-final matches of the Champions League and the Confederations Cup in Africa
Tanzanian clubs Simba and Yanga will be on duty to fly the country's flag at the end of this week in the quarter-final matches
Saturday April 22 at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium, at 4 pm Simba will face the defending champions of the Champions League Wydad Athletic, VAR will be used in this first leg game and will also be used in the second leg game to be played in Morocco on April 29
