After a 2-0 victory against Marumo Gallants in the semi-final game of the CAF Confederations Cup, the first leg, Yanga has collected Tsh 20 million from the bonus of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan
The President increased the bonus from 5 million to 10 million starting from the semi-final stage which Yanga is the only team that managed to qualify after their countrymen Simba were eliminated in the quarter-final stage of the Champions League
Now Yanga has reaped a total of Tsh 70 million in bonuses from the 12 goals they scored from the group stage
