According to Egyptian journalist Mohammed Saied, the CAF Africa Super league competition will be held in October 2023 where the draw for the preliminary matches will be held in July 2023 in Tanzania
According to Saied, the teams will be placed in two groups where the team of one group will be face a team of the second group where they will play two matches
The 8 teams that will participate in the Super League will not start from the preliminary matches of the CAF competition (Champions League, Confederation Cup) next season but will start from the second round
The tournament is expected to start in the middle of October until the end of November 2023
