Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has given clarification regarding the information circulating on social media about the suspension of the Minister of Culture, Arts and Sports, Dr. Damas Ndumbaro
Through its statement today September 2, 2023 TFF has noted that the accuracy is that Minister Dr. Ndumbaro was locked up for seven years by the previous leadership of TFF
However, he did not agree with the decision where he appealed to the TFF Disciplinary Appeal Committee against the punishment
Thus, the Disciplinary Appeal Committee of TFF under the current leadership heard the appeal in 2017 where Minister Dr. Ndumbaro won, thus removing the suspension penalty
Currently Minister Dr. Ndumbaro is the Chairman of the TEE Club License Appeal Committee
