Azam Fc Club has planned to take revenge against Namungo due to losing the home match of the first round of the Tanzania Mainland Premier League
October 27, last year Azam at the Azam Complex Stadium, Dar es Salaam conceded a 3-1 defeat against Namungo
Azam's Head of Communications, Thabit Zacharia, said one of the most important matches this season for them in the Premier League is against Namungo to be played on Sunday in Lindi region
Zaka said that apart from needing three points due to the fierce battle between them and the giants, Simba and Yanga, but they need revenge because they do not understand the reason why they were tied in the first match
"It is an important game for us even though we are above Simba, but we are there because we have played more games, so we should not lose the remaining games, we should not drop more points because there are some of our colleagues we have surpassed but they have fewer games"
"Then revenge is right, we are going to take revenge because they beat us here at Azam Complex in the first game," said Zaka Zakazi
Azam FC is going to play the match as the second place in the standings, with 47 points, the home of Yanga leading with 52 points and above Simba in third place with 45 points. However, Azam has played two more matches compared to Simba, having lost 21 games, Msimbazi Reds playing 19 games so far.
