Speaking in Dar es Salaam yesterday, the Chief Executive Officer of the League Board, Almasi Kasongo, said the changes in the schedules of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in the CHAN championship, the African Champions League and the Confederations Cup, one for one it will affect the schedule, so they will stay and make adjustments
"We continue to make adjustments and improvements to the schedule after the CHAN Executive Committee sat down and made adjustments to their schedules. The CHAN finals are scheduled to be held here in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda from February 28 to the 28th, but there are also matches of 'play offs' to play the finals which will start from October 25 to 27, which means they have come to affect our schedule directly," said Kasongo
He also said due to this, they must make adjustments to the Premier League schedule to allow players to serve their national team. Apart from that, Kasongo also said that CAF has also changed the schedules of the African Champions League and the Confederations Cup, which was normally supposed to be played in October, now it is expected to start from November to January, thus affecting the Revolution Cup which is held from January to 13 next year.
