Gamondi not happy with the fixtures

Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi has asked the League Board to consider the health of the players when preparing the schedule of NBC Premier League matches

Gamondi made the complaint while speaking at a press conference before the Premier League game between Coastal Union and Yanga to be played at the Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium, Saturday October 26

Gamondi said they don't have time to prepare for the match and the players to rest because the schedule forces them to play every three days

"Those who prepare the calendar should know that the players are not robots, they are human beings and even in Europe they have already started to complain to FIFA for having a schedule that compresses many matches of the Champions League and that has started here"

"The consequences of all this are injuries to the players and it will have an impact on the players and the quality of the match will decrease"

"We play a match that our opponents prepare for 7 to 8 days but we do things in less time"

"They should not be taken as complaints but as improvements for the people who prepare the calendar for the benefit of the league," said Gamondi

Talking about his team's preparations for the game, Gamondi said he expects the game will not be easy, fearing that the field will not allow them to play their type of football

"We hope it will be a difficult match considering the field also does not allow us to play our type of football but we will try to do what is possible and we have come here with the aim of winning the match," added Gamondi
