The midfielder of Singida Black Stars, Marouf Tchakei, has said that the award for the best player of the month in October is an incentive for him to continue doing well in his team
The Togolese star was last week announced as the best Premier League player for the month of October along with Azam FC coach, Rachid Toussi who was announced as the best coach
Tchakei has noted that the award has given him the motivation to continue to devote himself to his team and help to do well
"I thank my teammates for their cooperation, this award is an incentive to continue to do well and help the team to do better," said the star
He said that the league is difficult and competitive, so the players must commit themselves in every game to get a victory that will help the team to stay in the top positions
Singida Black Stars are in third place in the Premier League standings with 23 points after playing 10 games, being surpassed by two points by the leaders of the League, Simba, while Yanga is in second place with 24 points
