Five days before the min registration window opens, Yanga has started to introduce its new weapons after the champions of mainland Tanzania introduced the registration of full-back Israel Mwenda
Mwenda has landed in Yanga on loan until the end of the season from the Singida Black Stars club
The 24-year-old defender can play both right and left wing positions
Before signing with Singida Black Stars at the beginning of this season, Mwenda served KMC and Simba clubs several times getting the chance to be called to the national team
Yanga is facing a challenge in the defensive line, especially on the left side where defender Chadrack Boka is facing frequent injuries
His replacement Nickson Kibabage has not shown enough influence to be trusted in that position while Kibwana Shomari has been absent from the first team for a long time due to what is said to be a decrease in his strength
