Simba has continued to climb to the top of the league standings after today beating Singida BS 1-0 in a game played at the CCM LITI stadium, Singida
The only winning goal in the game was scored by Fabrice Ngoma in the 42nd minute with a header from a corner kick by Jean Charles Ahoua
That was Ngoma's third goal this season while Ahoua provided his fifth assist
Simba started the game fast and probably could have scored earlier if not for the strength of goalkeeper Metacha Mnata and his defensive line
In the second period, Simba's head coach Fadlu Davids changed his team's playing methods where he increased his strength in defense and used counterattacks
Ahoua almost added the second goal to Simba after Steven Mukwala's pass, but Metacha saved Ahoua's sharp shot in the 18th minute
These are three important points for Simba that put them at the top of the league standings, reaching 40 points and thus closing in 2024 when the beast is hit by a severe cold up there
