The new striker of Singida Black Stars, Eliuter Mpepo has revealed what prevented him from landing at Tabora United in the January registration window that was the delay in placing a registration bet which made him change his decision despite being given an initial contract
Mpepo who is one of the players of Singida Black Stars coached by Hamdi Miloud, said the delay in registration made him look for other opportunities after he was given an offer from a different club
The player who once played for Trident of Zambia where he scored seven goals and gave five assists explained that he thought it would be better to join Singida Black Stars
"I had a conversation with Tabora United and they wanted to sign me, but due to the delay in placing my bet I had another good opportunity," he said
"I decided to move to Singida Black Stars because I thought it was the best place to continue showing my potential. I am happy here and I am preparing to make a big contribution to this team," said Mpepo
Mpepo has teamed up with Ghanaian striker Jonathan Sowah who has also been signed by Singida Black Stars in the small window
