Dodoma Jiji striker, Wazir Jr Shentembo has joined Al Mina'a FC that participates in the Iraqi Premier League, following Simon Msuva who plays in the Al Talaba team.
Wazir Jr, who once played for Yanga in 2020/21, has signed a six-month contract to join the team that is in 16th place in the league with 20 teams.
The Secretary General of Dodoma City, Fortunatus Johnson has said that the star has joined the team on loan and at the end of the season they will sit and look at how to improve his interest as he will return to the team.
"The team saw him when he went to try out in Brunei where there were various agents, after the country's team was late (to sign him) Mina'a signed him," he said
Junior was introduced more than Toto Africa 2020/21 scoring 14 goals and later signed with Yanga where he served for two seasons then joined KMC scoring 13 goals 2022/23
