Ahead of the NBC Premier League match between Fountain Gate and Yanga which will be played today, Monday, April 21 at the Tanzanite Kwaraa Manyara Stadium, Yanga Head Coach Miloud Hamdi has said they are set to win the match to put themselves in a good position to defend the championship.
Furthermore, Hamdi, who has led Yanga in 11 matches, winning 10 and drawing one match, said he has prepared his team tactically to face Fountain Gate.
He said he believes his players will interpret the game plan well and emerge victorious.
"We must be very careful, win every match. Also, we have held technical meetings, watched videos and practiced technical exercises to prepare well."
"I often tell them that the star of the game is the system. If all the players understand the system, we will win many matches. We have players who are capable of making the system work but the first thing is to understand system"
"So when a player is substituted or enters the field, he must know directly what he is supposed to do and what he is not supposed to do and understand my players I believe we will continue to do well in every game," he said
In addition, Hamdi has admitted that some of his players have challenges with injuries and occasional pain but said he believes he has a strong team and will continue with the process of giving each player a chance
"It is true that we have some injured players like Aucho, Pacome is not yet ready, Musonda feels a little pain, not too much but we cannot risk him along with Azizi Ki who has long-term pain"
