Simba determined to win against Singida BS

Simba SC assistant coach Selemani Matola has stated that they must win their upcoming Premier League match against Singida Black Stars tomorrow to stay in the title race this season.

Speaking at a press conference earlier today, Matola said that after returning from Zanzibar, the squad immediately entered camp to complete preparations for the match.

Despite acknowledging the strength of Singida Black Stars, Matola emphasized that only a win will keep their championship hopes alive, making it a must-win fixture for the club.

"We are ready for the match. The team returned safely from Zanzibar and we’re now finalizing preparations for this tough game," he said.

"Singida Black Stars are one of the toughest teams this season. They are solid and have many experienced players."

"When we met them the first time, we won 1-0 away, but everyone saw how difficult that match was."

"Regardless of how strong they are, for us, it’s crucial to win. We are well-prepared to secure all three points. We know that any result other than a win could impact our title ambitions," Matola added.

Simba and Singida Black Stars will face off in two consecutive matches. Following the league game, the two teams will meet again three days later in the CRDB Federation Cup semifinal, which will be played at Tanzanite Kwaraa Stadium in Manyara on May 31.
