Azam FC have officially signed goalkeeper Aishi Manula on a two-year contract. The veteran shot-stopper joins the club as a free agent, with his contract at Simba SC set to expire at the end of the month.
This move marks a homecoming for Manula, who was originally signed by Simba from Azam in 2017. He spent eight seasons at the club, serving as their first-choice goalkeeper for six consecutive campaigns.
Despite a late-stage fallout with Simba management amid allegations of misconduct in a derby against rivals Yanga last season, Manula is remembered fondly by many Simba fans for his dedicated service.
