The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially released the schedule for the 2024 CHAN finals, with hosts Tanzania set to open the tournament against Burkina Faso at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on August 2 at 8:00 PM.
Tanzania is placed in Group B alongside Burkina Faso, Madagascar, Mauritania, and the Central African Republic.
Neighboring Kenya will kick off their Group A campaign against DR Congo on August 3 at 3:00 PM.
Other teams in Group A include Zambia, Angola, and Morocco. Co-hosts Uganda will begin their campaign against Niger on August 4 at 8:00 PM.
Group C includes South Africa, Algeria, and Guinea.
Yesterday, Taifa Stars Head Coach Hemed Morocco announced a 27-man squad that will head to Egypt for a training camp in preparation for the tournament.
