Simba SC is in the final stages of discussions with their Head Coach, Fadlu Davids, regarding the renewal of his contract, which officially came to an end.
Sources within the club have revealed that Fadlu has already met with top Simba SC officials to finalize talks for a contract extension.
This step has been motivated by the good work he has done this season, during which Simba displayed impressive performances on the pitch despite not winning any trophies.
The club’s honorary president, billionaire Mohammed Dewji ‘Mo’, is reported to have assured Fadlu of a new contract as a sign of appreciation for his contribution and to continue the long-term development plan for the team.
According to reports, Fadlu has already submitted his proposals to the club’s leadership — including several improvements to the squad. These proposals are part of the conditions he has set in order to continue with Simba.
The proposals include new signings and strengthening key areas of the team that were identified as problematic during the recently concluded season.
Speaking after the match against arch-rivals Yanga, Fadlu said:
"I will submit my proposals to the management, and we’ll see what they say. If what they need aligns with what I need, then we will move forward,” he said.
Fadlu initially joined Simba on a one-year contract, which has now ended. The ongoing talks for a new contract also include his entire technical bench, which comprises the Assistant Coach, Fitness Coach, and Video Analyst.
