Coach Miloud Hamdi Set for Long-Term Deal After Stellar Run with Yanga SC

It can be said that the impressive work done by Coach Miloud Hamdi has given Yanga SC leadership a clear reason to offer him a long-term contract.

When Hamdi arrived at Yanga to take over from Sead Ramovic, who had left for CR Belouizdad, he signed a short-term contract which officially ended on June 30.

However, after leading Yanga to victory in the CRDB Cup two days ago, Yanga President Engineer Hersi Said assured that Hamdi has been offered a new long-term contract.

Speaking yesterday at Jangwani in Dar es Salaam after the championship parade, Hamdi thanked Yanga fans, acknowledging their exceptional love and support for the team.

"I truly thank Yanga fans; you have genuine love for your team, you support us every step of the way and wherever we go,"

"I have worked with many big teams, but let me tell you, you are truly special. Today we’ve gathered here to celebrate our achievements this season,"

"But let me say this: with the kind of love you’re showing us, we’ll fight to be back here celebrating together every season," said Hamdi.

In the 21 competitive matches Hamdi has managed for Yanga, he has won 20 and drawn just one.

He led Yanga to three titles: the Muungano Cup, the Tanzanian Premier League, and the CRDB Bank Cup.
