Kagera Sugar Football Club has announced it will not renew the contract of outgoing Chief Executive Officer, Thabit Kandoro.
According to a statement released by the club, Kandoro is leaving after the team was relegated from the top-tier league.
"The management of Kagera Sugar Football Club would like to inform the public, our fans, sports enthusiasts, and all stakeholders that the club has officially reached an agreement not to renew the contract of the Club's Chief Executive Officer, THABIT KANDORO, following the expiration of his contract at the end of the 2024/2025 NBCPL season."
"This decision was made amicably and respectfully by both parties. The club sincerely thanks him for his valuable contributions throughout his tenure."
"The management wishes him all the best in his future endeavors. We promise to continue strengthening our operational structures within the club and will announce the process of appointing his successor at the appropriate time."
"We urge our fans to continue supporting us during this period of rebuilding the squad and technical bench ahead of the new NBC CHAMPIONSHIP 2025/2026 season."
