The management of Singida Black Stars has reached an agreement to part ways with utility player Edward Charles Manyama after just one season with the club.
Manyama joined Singida BS last season on a two-year contract as a free agent following the end of his contract with Azam FC.
A reliable source from within Singida Black Stars confirmed that the club's leadership reached an agreement with the player to make way for new signings.
βItβs true we held discussions with the player and agreed to terminate the remaining one year of his contract to allow space for new signings and give him the opportunity to seek new challenges in this transfer window,β said the source, adding:
βWe value his contribution to our squad during the past season. Now we are working to strengthen the team for both domestic and international competition after securing a spot in continental representation.β
In addition to Manyama, Singida has also parted ways with Habib Kyombo and winger Hamad Majimengi. Both players had been on loan outside the team and, upon returning, held talks that led to mutual termination of their contracts.
