Tanzania Seeks CHAN Quarterfinal Spot in Crucial Match Against Mauritania

After a 2-0 victory over Burkina Faso that placed Tanzania at the top of Group B, the CHAN tournament hosts will return to the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium tonight to face Mauritania in a match scheduled to kick off at 8 PM.

Tanzania needs all three points today to maintain a strong position for advancing to the knockout stage.

To ensure Tanzanians fill the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium today, the first 10,000 people to enter the Mzunguko stands will not pay an entrance fee—provided they have an N-Card.

There will be two matches played; by paying for the Stars vs. Mauritania match, fans will also be able to watch the 5 PM game between Burkina Faso and Central African Republic for free.
