Simba SC have continued to demonstrate their commitment to strengthening the squad after completing the signing of attacking midfielder Inno Jospin Loemba (21) from Cameroonian club Colombe Sports.
Loemba has already arrived in Dar es Salaam, a move that marks the beginning of a new chapter in his football journey in East Africa.
Sources within the club indicate that his official unveiling could take place today, before he immediately links up with the Simba squad as they return to training in preparation for their NBC Premier League match against Mashujaa FC, scheduled to be played on Thursday.
Loemba’s signing comes at a crucial time for Simba, who are facing a demanding run of fixtures. After the clash against Mashujaa FC, the Msimbazi Reds are expected to shift their focus to continental competition, as they prepare for a major encounter against Esperance de Tunis, set to take place at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on Sunday.
Although he joins from a Cameroonian club, Loemba is a Congolese national from Congo Brazzaville and has been one of the key players at Colombe Sports, where he also served as team captain—an indication of his leadership qualities and on-field experience despite his young age.
