Pitso Mosimane Linked with Possible Return to Mamelodi Sundowns

Renowned South African coach Pitso Mosimane has opened the door to a possible return to Mamelodi Sundowns, following reports suggesting that discussions may be taking place between him and the club’s management.

According to various sports reports in South Africa, Sundowns are believed to be assessing the possibility of changes within their technical bench. This has fueled speculation about a potential comeback for Mosimane, a coach who previously brought significant success to the club.

Mosimane guided Sundowns to major achievements, including winning the CAF Champions League title in 2016 as well as several South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) titles. His record continues to cement his status as one of Africa’s most respected coaches.

The reports emerge amid uncertainty surrounding the future of current head coach Miguel Cardoso, although the club has not issued any official statement regarding technical changes.

However, Mosimane himself has not officially confirmed a return. In various interviews, he has emphasized that he holds no grudges against the club and remains open to opportunities that contribute to football development.

If an agreement is reached, Mosimane’s return would be considered a major step for Sundowns, particularly at a time when both domestic and international competition is intensifying.

So far, Mamelodi Sundowns’ management has not released any official communication to confirm or deny the reported talks, as fans eagerly await a final decision.
