Libyan giants Al-Ittihad Club have officially completed the payment of transfer fees to Moroccan champions Wydad Athletic Club for the signing of two players who were previously part of the Casablanca-based side.
According to reports, a total of $1.4 million (approximately TSh 3.9 billion) has been paid to finalize the deal. Of that amount, $800,000 (TSh 2.04 billion) was paid for attacking midfielder Stephane Aziz Ki, while $600,000 (TSh 1.53 billion) covered the transfer of South African winger Thembinkosi Lorch.
The completion of these payments officially concludes the transfer process, with both players already beginning their duties at Al-Ittihad for the 2025/26 season.
Aziz Ki, who previously shone in the Tanzania Premier League before joining Wydad, has been handed the number 22 jersey, while Lorch will wear the number 11 shirt for the Tripoli-based club.
The signings underline Al-Ittihad’s ambition to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season, while Wydad successfully finalize the transfers on strong financial terms.
