Tottenham Hotspur are expected to begin formal talks with Roberto De Zerbi over the possibility of signing a five-year contract to take charge of the team.
According to reports from Sky Sports, Tottenham’s management has made it clear they are seeking a long-term solution in the managerial position following the departure of Igor Tudor, rather than a short-term fix.
Reports suggest Spurs are pushing hard to complete the deal as soon as possible, trying to secure De Zerbi’s approval to start immediately—even though he was initially considered a summer option.
Tottenham believe De Zerbi is the right coach for their long-term project, which is why they have put a five-year contract offer on the table to convince him to take on the role quickly.
