Young midfielder Mayulu of Paris Saint-Germain has officially chosen to represent the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the country of his parents’ origin.
Discussions between the relevant parties have been finalized, and the process of obtaining a Congolese passport is already underway—an indication of his full commitment to playing for the DRC national team, known as the Leopards.
This is a significant and symbolic decision, reflecting his strong connection to his roots and his support for African football.
Mayulu now joins a growing group of dual-nationality players who proudly choose to represent DR Congo, aiming to build a strong future for the nation’s football.
