Ancelotti Signs New Four-Year Contract to Stay as Brazil Coach Until 2030

The Brazilian Football Confederation (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol) has officially announced that Brazil national team head coach Carlo Ancelotti has signed a new four-year contract that will keep him in charge until July 2030.

According to the statement, the renewed agreement follows CBF’s satisfaction with the coach’s technical direction. Ancelotti will now continue leading one of the most successful national teams in world football, Brazil.

He had initially been expected to leave after the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but the new deal means he will now oversee both the 2026 and 2030 World Cup campaigns as part of a long-term project aimed at restoring Brazil to the top of international football.

CBF stated that the decision is intended to ensure stability in both the squad and tactical philosophy, especially during a period in which Brazil has been rebuilding and integrating a new generation of players.

Ancelotti, who has managed several top European clubs and won numerous domestic and international titles, is expected to use his experience to blend emerging talents with established stars in the Brazil squad.
