Singida Black Stars are in the final stages of completing the signing of Ghanaian striker Jonathan Sowah, who is currently contracted to Simba SC.
Reports from sources close to the negotiations indicate that talks between the involved parties are progressing well, with Singida Black Stars now in a strong position to bring back the forward ahead of the upcoming season.
Sowah has not featured for Simba for the past four months after being suspended over disciplinary issues. The club initially relegated him to train with the youth team while awaiting a final decision on his future.
However, it is reported that the player refused to comply with the arrangement, further complicating his situation at the Msimbazi-based club.
According to current information, Simba are expected to part ways with the striker at the end of the season, potentially allowing Singida Black Stars to sign him on a free transfer.
If the deal goes through, Sowah would be returning to the club where he previously showcased impressive performances in the Tanzanian Premier League before joining Simba.
It is worth noting that Sowah initially moved to Simba from Singida Black Stars on a free transfer after an agreement between the two clubs. His arrival at Simba had attracted significant attention due to his strong performances in Singida.
