Simba SC have reached a mutual agreement with attacking midfielder Joshua Mutale, popularly known as βBudo,β to terminate his contract, making the player a free agent with immediate effect.
Reports indicate that the decision was made after Mutale completed his loan spell at Saudi Arabian club Al Adalah FC, which informed Simba SC that it had no intention of signing him on a permanent basis.
Although Mutale still had one year remaining on his contract with Simba SC, both parties agreed to end their partnership early, giving the player the opportunity to begin a new chapter in his career and freely determine his future.
The midfielder joined Simba SC with high expectations due to the impressive form he had shown before his transfer. However, he was unable to consistently deliver the level of performance expected during his time with the club.
Following the end of his loan spell in Saudi Arabia, Mutale is now being linked with a return to his former club, Power Dynamos, the team from which Simba SC signed him two seasons ago.
