The race for the Golden Boot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup intensified on Tuesday after France captain and striker Kylian Mbappe scored twice in his side's 3-0 victory over Sweden in the Round of 32.
The brace took Mbappe's tournament tally to six goals, drawing him level with Argentina captain Lionel Messi, who also scored six goals during the group stage.
