LASK, Bodo/Glimt and Sabah FC make Champions League history.

The UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds have continued to produce fascinating stories, with LASK among the teams to complete one of the biggest comebacks. LASK were trailing Celtic 4-0 on aggregate early in the second leg, but they scored four consecutive goals to force the match into extra time. Sam Adeniran scored the winning goal in the 109th minute, giving LASK the chance to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.

Meanwhile, Norway’s Bodø/Glimt have returned to the UEFA Champions League after defeating NEC Nijmegen 6-1 on aggregate over the two qualifying matches. Bodø/Glimt have continued to show significant growth in recent years and have now secured their return to Europe’s biggest club competition.

Another piece of history was written by Sabah FC, who have qualified to play in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history. The club, which was founded just eight years ago, has reached this stage only a short time after its establishment, making its journey one of the most remarkable stories of this season’s qualifying rounds.

The Champions League qualifiers have made it clear that history and reputation alone are not enough on the pitch. LASK produced a dramatic late comeback, Bodø/Glimt returned to the competition, and Sabah FC wrote a new chapter in their history just eight years after being founded.
