Singida Black Stars head coach Papy Kimoto’s future at the club is reportedly uncertain, with reports suggesting that the club’s management is considering dismissing him following their 2-1 defeat to Mashujaa FC in an NBC Premier League match played at Lake Tanganyika Stadium in Kigoma today.
Sources within the club claim that, in addition to the poor results on the pitch, there are strained relations between the Congolese coach and the club’s management.
A reliable source revealed that the dispute was triggered by Coach Kimoto’s request for all players who travelled to South Sudan for the CAF competition to proceed directly to Kigoma.
However, the club’s management rejected the proposal on economic and logistical grounds, instead ordering only 12 players to travel by air to join the squad that had remained in Singida. The decision is said to have angered the coach.
