Simba SC winger Libasse Gueye, the Senegalese international, has been named the NBC Premier League Player of the Month for August, beating fellow nominees Oscar Mwajanga of Mbeya City and Maxi Nzengeli of Yanga SC.
Gueye enjoyed an impressive month, delivering strong performances and playing a key role for Simba in their league matches.
During August, Libasse was directly involved in six of Simba’s goals, providing five assists and scoring one goal.
The award further highlights the winger’s growing influence within the Simba squad, particularly in creating chances and linking up with the team’s attacking players.
