The London Metropolitan Police have prepared a major security operation across South East London ahead of tomorrow’s derby between Millwall and West Ham. Police have issued dispersal orders in several areas as they prepare to maintain security before, during and after the match.
Around 400 police officers will be deployed across various locations surrounding the fixture. The operation will also involve dog units, mounted police and live facial recognition cameras. According to Standard Sport, the measures are part of a wider plan to ensure safety and security on matchday.
